Campus Resources

This calendar has an overview of all the important dates and deadlines for your student’s academic year. This calendar also provides more information on rules, regulations, and policies for the University of Guelph. View the calendar. 

The process to apply to undergraduate programs from outside of Canada can be found on our how to apply page. After applying, your student will receive a link to an admission portal where they can upload documentation and receive additional details about the admission process to U of G.

Our Residence Guarantee

International undergraduate students beginning their studies in 2025 are guaranteed university housing for the duration of their academic endeavours at U of G. First-year students who reside outside of Ontario, Canada and do not pay international fees (including Canadian citizens and permanent residents) are guaranteed residence for their first year of studies.  

To be eligible, students must accept their offer to the University of Guelph, apply to residence, and pay the $750 CAD residence deposit by June 2, 2025 (fall entry).

Off-Campus Living Advising

Students who wish to live off campus have access to an Off-Campus Living Advisor. Learn more on the Student Experience website.  

Food and Hospitality 

U of G has been ranked #1 for campus food in Canada for over 10 years! Learn more about meal plans, menus, and dietary accommodations on the Hospitality Services website 

The Global Pre-Arrival Support Advisor (GPS Advisor) supports new graduate and undergraduate international students from the point of offer through to semester one. The GPS Advisor helps students navigate each step of the process from acceptance, to study permit application, to registration and beyond. Learn more on the Student Experience website

Your Student's Privacy

The University is bound by the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA); provincial legislation that governs the University’s collection, use and sharing of personal information.  Under this legislation, University faculty and staff are prohibited from discussing, changing or divulging a student’s personal information.  This means that we will not provide you with information on grades, academic progress, financial status, disciplinary history, etc.  Your student is always welcome to discuss their university experience with the appropriate University academic or administrative resource.
