In-Person Tours
Our lively campus provides the perfect backdrop for your educational journey. Come, be inspired, and discover the Gryphon pride that lives in our community. We can’t wait to welcome you to our campus!
- Campus tours run Monday through Friday (and some Saturdays) at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Note: There are some exceptions including long weekends, so please make sure you have a reservation.
- Your tour will be led by a current U of G student and will be approximately 2 hours in length as we show you all the highlights of campus.
- Tours are general in nature, designed to include stops at notable campus landmarks, a lecture hall, athletic facilities, dining halls, the library, student residences, and more!
- Tours run in all weather conditions, so please dress accordingly.
- Spring/Summer tours will run from Monday, April 28, to Friday, August 15, 2025. Please note that certain areas of campus are closed during the Summer. Especially on Saturdays, when the Library, all Dining Halls, and the Bookstore are not open.
- Please arrive at your tour on time. If you are late, there is no guarantee that we will be able to catch you up with the tour, in which case you would need to do a self-guided tour.
How to book
- Review the calendar and select an available date for your campus tour.
- Once you’ve selected a date, please choose one of the available tour times and click the link to open the registration form.
- Complete the registration form. If you require any accessibility accommodations, you will be prompted to email tours@uoguelph.ca
- Once you click submit, you will see a confirmation page. You will also receive an email confirmation shortly after you’ve submitted the form.
Virtual Tours
Can’t make it to campus? No problem - Let us show you around virtually!
Our virtual tours are offered once a month, so be sure to look ahead at the calendar for upcoming offerings.
Join us on Zoom as a current Gryphon takes you on a live virtual guided tour experience through some of the most popular spots on the U of G campus. During this hour-long virtual tour, we encourage you to ask any questions through the Q&A feature.
How to book

- Once you submit the registration form, you will see a confirmation page. You will also receive an email confirmation with a link to join the virtual tour shortly after you’ve submitted the form.

Join the START team for a day in the life tour! Our tours will be led by upper-year students, who will share their own experiences and give you a taste of what campus life is really like. This is the perfect opportunity to make new connections and get a head start on building your community before the semester begins. Tour dates for new incoming students can be found on the START U of G Website (you will need to log in with your single sign-on to access the page).
NOTE: These tours are for students who are enrolled for September. If you are a prospective student, please sign up for a general campus tour.
