Building Bridges Across Difference
More than ever our world, our communities and our campus need people who are committed to and skilled in building bridges across difference. Bridging the Gap is a 6-week bridgebuilding workshop series that will bring together a group of students to learn and practice skills in bridgebuilidng.
Students will learn together to:
- Understand what bridgebuilding is and create their own ethic of bridgebuilding
- Practice and strengthen skills in deep listening
- Practice the power of storytelling to create understanding
- Explore how to navigate moments of tension constructively during bridgebuilding
Hosted by Multi-Faith Programs and run by Sonya Wu-Winter, Coordinator of Multi-Faith Programs, this workshop series will include, but not be limited to, bridgebuilding across religious, spiritual and worldview differences. Drawn from Interfaith America's Bridging the Gap curriculum, weekly sessions will run in the Fall 2025 semester.
