For Fall 2025, incoming international-fee-paying undergraduate students attending the University of Guelph for the first time are guaranteed on-campus housing for the full duration of their studies, as long as you apply and pay the residence deposit by June 2, 2025. On-Campus Housing

Meal Plans
Meal Plans are mandatory for students living in a traditional residence and optional for students living in East Residence, West Residence and the East Village Townhouses. Visit the Campus Meal Plan page for more information.

If you are planning to live off-campus, plan to arrive early before the beginning of classes to view housing in person and explore the neighbourhood before deciding on a permanent accommodation. If you are living off-campus or in a residence with kitchen facilities, you can purchase the Ultra Food Plan.
